Okay, I've finally been prodded out of a combination of blog-stupor and writer's block by a reference to poor old me in my saale saab's distinguished blog.

Saw Dhoom the other day. It was a big occasion - life in Silicon Valley, circa 2004, does not look kindly upon spending $16 with no material benefit.
And did it pay off! Dhoom is an entirely watchable movie, the term "paisa vasool" was coined entirely in anticipation of this. Fast bikes, hot girls, wacky humour... what more could one want? Mrs. Horseshoe thought entirely otherwise though. Too many bikes, too much action, not enough drama for her. Could it get more predictable?

But for me, Rimii alone was worth the trip. (Mrs. Horseshoe doesn't like her at all - I have a sneaking suspicion that her liking any actress is a negation function on my liking the actress.)
